What it Means to Join
We have formed a powerful network of local black urban farmers to collaborate at farmer's markets, provide reliable quality produce for local CSA's and buying clubs, and to fill wholesale orders for the growing corner store and healthy food market initiatives happening in our city. We have become a consistent sourcing option for locally grown organic produce, eliminating the competition by strategically growing the same crops and a specific cash crop at each farm. The fact that each farm services different food desert areas of the city makes us a powerhouse of knowledge, leadership, and a major local food producer
Membership Requirements
We offer an open membership to the network at no cost at this time. Must be African American, a resident of Indiana, using organic agriculture practices, selling produce or your own produce related items. Umbrella event costs are split between the farmers who are participating.
